The weather looks good so try for another ride. Meet at the 7/11 across from the shop 10:30 AM. These will be all day rides back well before dark and lunch stop! Everyone ride within your comfort zone...we have sweep riders for anyone having problems and no one gets left lost. If you are coming but running a little behind CALL or TEXT (704) 649 4011. Any reports from the mountain routes?? Let's go with a riders choice...options are:
Southern routes: These are warmer and tamer routes less technical (1 to 10)
- White Store road (5)
- Morrow mountain (4)
- Piedmont and area...I have route input in my GPS! ! ( rating TBD)
- Others??
Northern routes: These get cool at elevation and are quite technical (1 to 10)
- Old 18 (a 7) with Mountain Stream Road ( rating TBD)
- Old 18 (a 7) and 181 (a 7),( (Jonas Ridge)
- Hwy 80 (The Whip a 10!) and 226A (Diamond Back a 9)...
- Others??
We had a great ride last Sunday...one small pre-ride incedent..no one hurt, but property damage, police involved...a great lunch story! Check out the video from Matt...posted on previous blog for some ride footage.

Tommy said... Well we had a great ride...fine weather, good roads and lots of friends! Ended up in the mountains...Old 18,126,Fish Hatchery Road and 181. Ate at the renowned Jakes in Morganton. Six bikes and even met a few others on the route. I hope the weather gets better and we can do it again this weekend!
